Q&A with Daniel

What is your job/position and what are your day-to-day tasks?

As team leader in Support, I primarily deal with error messages, questions and concerns from our customers and the organization of my team. Communication with the other Loy & Hutz departments, which is often essential for solving problems, is another important part of my job. Checking internal error messages is also part of the support task.

Which tools do you mainly use for your work?

I work with our internal software waveware® QPRO on a daily basis. Here I mainly use the ticket system, which receives the inquiries sent by e-mail from our customers. Of course, I use our current waveware® software solutions on a daily basis and occasionally the previous generation of visual FM, which some companies still use. In addition to MS Teams, Outlook, Word and Excel, I use VMware and Enterprise Management Studio. I use TeamViewer for our remote support.

What challenges drive you the most?

I value the communication with our customers and the team. The positive feedback encourages me in my work.

Where can you best contribute your strengths?

My area of responsibility requires a “thick skin”, a lot of patience and empathy as well as stress resistance. These are also my strengths. Structured work and the coordination of different areas of activity are also part of it.

What do you like most about your job?

I appreciate the often very personal contact with my customers, the exchange of experiences with my team, the positive company atmosphere and the opportunity to organize my work myself.

What are you most passionate about outside of work?

In summer, I like to spend my free time at the swimming pool and in winter on the ski slopes. I also enjoy traveling and am a big fan of Greece. After work, I spend a lot of time with my family and listen to audiobooks.
