Daniela is at the heart of Loy & Hutz. As part of our office management team, she has a wide range of tasks: She organizes business trips, manages cool benefits such as Hansefit and JobRad and plans the best internal events. In the Freiburg office, she always keeps an overview and ensures that everything looks inviting. She is also the point of contact for all questions from employees, customers and partner companies – whether by phone, email or in person. This makes her day-to-day work super varied and brings her into contact with lots of different people, which she really enjoys. Her organizational skills are her secret weapon. In her free time, she enjoys going to concerts, attending theater performances and keeping fit.
In my role as Office Manager, I have a variety of tasks. As part of the head office, I am the first point of contact for all inquiries from employees, customers and partner companies that come in by phone, email or in person. Processing orders and drawing up maintenance contracts are also part of my daily tasks. I make sure that everything runs smoothly on site at the Freiburg headquarters – including our training, meeting and staff rooms. I also book business trips, manage our benefits such as Hansefit and JobRad and plan internal events. Providing training documents and managing incoming and outgoing mail are also part of my responsibilities.
I work most with our internal waveware® version QPRO. I can manage all orders and HR master data and create invoices there. But I also use the office applications MS Teams and Outlook on a daily basis to communicate with my colleagues and our customers.
The exciting thing about my work is that you work with so many people due to the wide range of tasks. This gives you an insight into almost all areas of the company. However, the challenge is to keep an overview of the many tasks.
As an office manager, good organizational skills and a structured way of working are essential. As we work in a team, it is important that we can always rely on each other and communicate well. We also need flexibility to be able to react quickly to challenges.
What I like best is that no two days are the same. Due to the different areas of work, the tasks are super varied and I have a lot of contact with all employees, but also with customers and partner companies. I particularly appreciate the good and uncomplicated communication within the company – whether with colleagues or superiors – so that tasks can always be implemented quickly.
In my free time, I enjoy going to concerts and the theater. Otherwise, after work you can usually find me doing sports – whether in the gym, in the sports hall or out hiking.
