Christoph Kublin
As team leader in application development, Christoph primarily supports his team in the implementation of their projects. He is the contact person for questions about our diverse applications and also takes care of their further and new development himself. Since 2022, Christoph has also been developing our waveware® MOBILE app as Product Manager together with the MOBILE team. He particularly appreciates the daily variety and the exchange with different teams. In his free time, he enjoys being outdoors, going jogging, mountain biking or camping – preferably with family and friends.
I have been a team leader in application development since 2021. My main task is to provide my team with intensive support in the implementation of individual projects. At the same time, I am the contact person for all questions relating to our applications and therefore often have cross-departmental contact within the company. It is also my job to implement ideas and concepts for new applications and to maintain and expand existing applications. In addition to developing the basic structures of an application (this includes, for example, the data model and the associated business logic), my area of responsibility also includes fine-tuning an application by providing various components such as selections, print forms, rights structures and much more. Since 2022, I have also been responsible for the further development of our waveware® MOBILE app as a product manager.
Our graphical development tools waveware® CONSTRUCTOR (system construction kit) and waveware® DESIGNER (interface customization) are the main tools in application development, as they are used to create, maintain and deploy all our applications. GitLab is essential for company-wide code management and is used by us to deploy new applications or update existing ones. As we are spread across several locations in Germany, Armenia and Portugal and many of our colleagues now have the opportunity to work from home, MS Teams is an indispensable tool for our communication.
I really enjoy accompanying a project from the initial idea through development to completion and being able to contribute my ideas and experience. I also find it very motivating to know that the products that I have developed or worked on are later used by our customers and make their daily work easier.
A good understanding of information technology has always been my strength. I can now put this to ideal use in the development of our applications. My open manner, good communication skills and solution-oriented attitude help me to achieve ideal results even in challenging situations.
My working day is never boring or monotonous, as new challenges await me every day. The different requirements mean I get to know a lot of new things and can exchange ideas with different people. I also really appreciate the recognition from Loy & Hutz for the work that each and every one of us does.
In my free time, I am drawn to the outdoors as the perfect balance to my work at the computer. The best way to do this is on a camping trip or with sporting activities such as mountain biking, road cycling, jogging or hiking. If I can combine this with family and friends, then I’m completely happy.
