Hajo enriches the LH headquarters with strong communication skills, organizational talent and multitasking ability. Every day, he answers calls via our central phone number, organizes office supplies, business trips, meetings as well as company events and manages our vehicle fleet. He also assists our sales team with order processing and quoting. For him, appreciation and helpfulness are not only gestures he experiences himself from the entire team. He also gladly gives them back to us.








What is your job/position and what are your day-to-day tasks?

I manage all office operations tasks for our headquarters in Freiburg im Breisgau and our other locations in Dinslaken, Hamburg/Norderstedt and Löhne. In our office, I am the central contact person for any concerns of our customers, management and employees. This includes the entire office management, such as answering phone calls and e-mails, organizing office and work materials, preparing all meetings, booking business trips and planning and executing company events.  I also assist the sales department in the back office with preparing offers and processing orders. Furthermore, I coordinate and manage our vehicle fleet. My tasks include vehicle orders and returns, transfers as well as scheduling maintenance and occasional repairs.

Which tools do you mainly use for your work?

To manage my tasks, I mainly use our in-house software waveware® QPRO and the common MS Office programs. Via MS Teams I conduct all internal and external calls as well as chats. In addition, there is a real toolbox around the corner in case any manual work is needed in the office.

What challenges drive you the most?

The biggest challenge is prioritizing the different tasks and implementing them at the right time. The work remains exciting because my area of responsibility is very varied. Our dynamic and creative team contributes a lot to making every day unique and remembered with at least one smile.

Where can you best contribute your strengths?

I see my strengths in communication, organization and multitasking. In general and also through my education as a hotel manager, I am stress-resistant, creative, service- and solution-oriented. The office management team complements and supports each other on a daily basis and contributes its own experience, ideas and approaches to solutions in order to constantly develop itself and also as a team.

What do you like most about your job?

The appreciation and willingness to help on the part of all employees and the management of Loy & Hutz is remarkable and ensures a sense of achievement every day.

What are you most passionate about outside of work?

I like to spend my free time in nature, hiking, cycling and motorcycling. As a gourmet, I like to create and consume delicious dishes. I am also a big music fan. Mainly I listen to punk rock and turbo folk.
