As a sales representative at Loy & Hutz, I look after our existing customers as well as acquiring new customers. I also provide some support in ongoing projects and contribute to the development of new processes and features.
My day-to-day work is very varied and diverse. When acquiring new customers, a large part of the work often consists of checking the specifications, concepts, price sheets, etc. of the tender documents and working on these together as a team. This also includes product presentations and negotiations.
Supporting our existing customers is also very varied. Our aim is to provide our customers with the best possible advice and support so that our software can be optimally implemented or expanded in their company.
The exchange with our customers as well as the examination and review of tender documents always gives us an up-to-date overview of the requirements of the market. We use this expertise to contribute to the development of new processes and features.
MS Office products such as Teams and Outlook are essential for internal and external communication with colleagues, interested parties and customers. We use our in-house software waveware® QPRO to create quotations and plan projects and resources. All of our internal processes such as personnel planning, vacation planning, preparing quotations and invoices, recording project times, etc. are mapped there.
Almost all of our customers have different requirements and environments. It is sometimes a major challenge to provide them with the best possible advice. The scheduling of tenders and projects requires good time management. Here it is very important that we at Loy & Hutz work on all projects (from the start of the tender to the go-live) as a team. This allows us to support each other at all times.
Thanks to my training as an IT specialist and my professional experience, I have a good foundation in dealing with IT. This is very important when it comes to understanding tenders, processes or interfaces.
Due to my activities in previous positions (including IT manager, SAP consultant and team leader of the Loy & Hutz SAP team) as well as my further training in project management, I was able to further develop my strengths in analysis, conceptualization, project management and communication. This is very important for me in system consulting in order to provide our customers with the best possible advice.
With Loy & Hutz, there is no “one thing” that I like the most. For me, a lot of factors are just right here: We have a great, dynamic and highly motivated team in which we always help each other and in which every team member can contribute their different strengths. We have an innovative and very flexible product that can be used across all industries and is easily scalable. We offer many benefits such as Hansefit, company trips and company parties. We have a very flexible working model that allows employees to choose a flexible mix between working from home and being in the office and to organize their working hours individually (depending on the circumstances). This is particularly valuable for families.
In my free time, we like to go on trips as a family or with friends, go hiking or go on vacation with the caravan. I like to go jogging regularly or ride my racing bike to clear my head.
