Q&A with Luise

What is your job/position and what are your day-to-day tasks?

As the central point of contact at our headquarters in Freiburg, I coordinate all organizational processes and administrative matters for management, employees, and customers. My responsibilities extend beyond Freiburg to our other locations in Dinslaken, Hamburg/Norderstedt, and Löhne. My core tasks include answering and processing phone calls and emails, organizing and managing office and work materials, and preparing and following up on internal meetings. In addition, I am responsible for planning and booking business trips and organizing internal company events.
In the area of sales support, I work in the back office, helping to prepare quotations and process orders. I am also responsible for fleet management, from ordering and transferring vehicles to scheduling maintenance and repairs and returning them.

Which tools do you mainly use for your work?

To carry out my tasks, I mainly use our internal waveware® version QPRO and the standard MS Office programs. I conduct internal and external calls and chats via MS Teams.

What challenges drive you the most?

The biggest challenge is to prioritize diverse tasks correctly and implement them at the right time. The varied range of tasks keeps the work exciting. Our dynamic and creative team in particular ensures that no two days are the same.

Where can you best contribute your strengths?

Thanks to my training in the hotel industry, I have strong organizational and communication skills — qualities that are particularly useful when dealing with customers and colleagues. During my training, I learned how to keep track of things and act in a solution-oriented manner, even in stressful situations.

What do you like most about your job?

What I like best is the entire team. Everyone is open and friendly, and the good mood here is simply contagious! That starts with my colleagues and doesn’t stop with the management.

What are you most passionate about outside of work?

In my free time, I explore Freiburg’s restaurant scene and am always discovering new places to eat. I also enjoy watching SC Freiburg play, whether it’s the men’s or women’s team.
